Elevated Beach Home, from Ordinary to Extraordinary
The origin of this project began as the owners desired to remodel the kitchen. Working together, it became apparent that the home was in need of many other updates as well. On the exterior, all of the existing finishes were replaced (including the roofing, siding, trim, and windows). Interior work included renovating existing spaces and enclosing an existing screen porch. The bulk of the interior work was performed on existing rooms but some walls were removed to create a more open main floor. By introducing upgraded interior finishes (such as wood shiplap and quartz countertops), this home transformed from an ordinary house at the beach to an extraordinary beach home.
