TMD Architects was built on the foundation that great architecture is local in character, timeless in nature, and personalized in detail. Our homes are unique to their location and owners. They are complementary to their natural surroundings and the architectural context in which they exist. Furthermore, our buildings are designed with resiliency in mind, with the goal that they last for generations.
We specialize in the design of custom single-family homes, new houses, renovations, restorations, and additions. Typical construction budgets range from $1M and up.

We met with 3-4 architects before starting a renovation in Old Mount Pleasant. Trevor was our favorite and we are very happy to have chosen him. Here are some of the reasons:

Trevor is passionate about home and family, so it’s no surprise that he founded an architecture firm focused on building heart into the dream homes of his clients. He created TMD Architects in 2009 after a five-year tenure in D.C. where he became a registered architect in 2007 and earned a LEED Accredited Professional Certificate in 2009. Crafting personalized homes that are designed to withstand the unique Lowcountry climate as well as last for generations has become his specialty.
When Trevor isn’t drawing up dream homes for his clients and operating TMD Architects, he can be found playing ball with his son Judson or rollerblading with his daughter Shelby. He enjoys being outdoors, woodworking (especially building furniture pieces his wife, Megan, dreams up), and working on cars. Trevor and his family worship at Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant.
Megan is driven by a desire to make good things happen. As TMD Architects’ Chief Client Experience Officer for the last 14 years, she knows intimately the challenges and joys of building or renovating a dream home. Through every step in the process, Megan plays guide, coach, and friend as clients see their dream homes come to life. She loves swapping hats: From CCEO, to founder and fundraising expert at Philanthrope Reimagined, to mom of Shelby and Judson and wife to Trevor.
